Subscription

I paid, but the app still shows the subscribe screen

Make sure the phone is online, close Vitals fully and reopen it. If it is still locked, open Settings, then Subscription, and tap Restore Purchase. If that does not work within a minute, email us with the address you used at checkout and we will link it by hand.

How do I cancel or change plans?

Settings, then Subscription, then Manage Subscription. That opens your Stripe billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Because billing runs through Stripe rather than Apple, the subscription does not appear under your Apple ID.

I got a new phone

The subscription is linked to a phone, not to an account. On the new phone, open Settings, then Subscription, and tap Restore Purchase. If the new phone is not recognised, email us with your checkout address and we will move it.

Refunds

If something is wrong, tell us within 14 days of a charge and we will put it right or refund it. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.

Your data

Export or delete everything

Settings, then Privacy. Export my data writes everything the app holds into one JSON file you can share out. Delete all data erases it from the phone. Workouts written to Apple Health or your calendar are not removed by the app; delete those in Apple’s apps, which own them.

Erasing the subscription record on our server

Delete all data clears the phone. To erase the subscription record we hold as well, email us from the address you used at checkout and say so. We confirm by reply when it is done. The privacy policy explains exactly what that record contains.

Advertising choices

On the weekly plan, Settings, then Privacy choices reopens the consent form at any time. Tracking permission is controlled by iOS under Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Tracking.

Something broke

Email us with the iPhone model, the iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps. The version number is at the bottom of the app’s Settings screen.
